Castle Baron sires Qld State Dressage Champions

Castle Baron has achieved some brilliant results at the recent Queensland State Dressage Championships siring both the Novice Pony Champion and the Novice Pony Reserve Champion.

Glenormiston Redmond

Glenormiston Dunmurray (Castle Baron x Glenormiston Rosmara) was awarded the title of Novice Pony State Champion and Glenormiston Redmond (Castle Baron x Glenormiston Rosaleen) was awarded the Novice Pony State Reserve Champion as well as winning the Regional Qld Hi-Point Trophy. In further news to hand Carla Cosgrove and Glenormiston Redmond are currently finalists in the Dressage Queensland Pony of the Year awards. We wish Carla and Redmond all the best of luck for the awards ceremony which is to be held in Brisbane on the 8th December.

Both Dunmurray and Redmond were bred by Mrs Sue Clarke at the Glenormiston Connemara Pony Stud in Queensland and are from the same immediate family of the current National Performance Pony 'Glenormiston Dundrum'. In fact Glenormiston Dunmurray is a full brother to Glenormiston Dundrum and a brother 'in blood' to Asham Duntroon.  Glenormiston Redmond is a 3/4 brother to both aforementioned ponies being out of a half sister to both Glenormiston Rosmara and Glenormiston Rosslea in Glenormiston Rosaleen. The addition of Abbeyleix Finbar completing the pedigree.
