A Working Hunter Class was developed as a new event within the Scone Showjumping Club's annual Showjumping Competition. The event was held at the Denman Pony Club grounds allowing us to make use of the amazing cross country course and incorporate both natural showjumps with cross country obstacles and even the water jump. A true Working Hunter Test judged admirably by Mr Ian McDuie it was open to all comers and judged within pony, galloway and hack divisions.

Mr James Balfe, a shareholder in our Connemara Stallion Castle Baron sponsored magnificent Trophy Rugs for both the Hi Point Purebred Connemara and the Hi Point Partbred Connemara. Ashley and Gl Ballymalloe competed brilliantly to place 2nd in the Galloway Division and take out the Purebred Award and Kate Ramsay riding Kylemore Promise competed in the Hack Division winning the Partbred Award. Kylemore Promise is a Connemara x Thoroughbred.
