Highlands Mr Henrysee

2008 grey gelding (Glenormiston Bartley x Strong Caper (T/B)

In 2012 we were offered the opportunity to purchase Highlands Mr Henrysee from a friend after he had been sent to Asham Connemaras & Sporthorses for education. Jonathan raved about 'Henry' when he rode him and so we took up the offer and purchased him as a future eventer for the kids. Our intentions were twofold, as well as the fact that he is such a nice horse under saddle he is also the first progeny of our stallion Glenormiston Bartley. If he grew into the horse that we expected, he would be a great advertisement for 'Bart".

In the last 3 years he has totally exceeded our expectations and is maturing into a very serious performance horse. Ready to compete at Pre Novice Eventing and A Grade Pony Club, he has proved to be the very best advertisement that we could of asked for in representing his sire and our sporthorse breeding programme!

In this time 'Henry' has excelled in every arena that we have tested him in with both Sam and  Ashley. Consistently scoring in excess of 70% in his dressage with Ashley he finished as the Reserve Champion Eventer at the Interschools spectacular at Tamworth in 2014.  'Henry' was awarded as one of the Top 5 National  Sporthorses in the CPBSA awards in 2014 and then graduated to take out the Title of National Connemara Sporthorse in 2015. 'Henry' also won the NSW PCA State Eventing Championships in 2015 and is currently  a member of the  High Performance Eventing Squad at NEGS
