Glenormiston Celebration is a full sister to Glenormiston Ballycarra the dam of our champion performance ponies Glenormiston Killian, Glenormiston Ballymalloe and Glenormiston Ballyhooley and is by one of the most successful Connemara ponies in Australia in Domo Cavallo Praize. Praize was never beaten at a Royal Show winning dozens of championships and supreme championships in hand, under saddle and in harness, he evented in open competition, and was only once unplaced over a 10 year EFA eventing career. With an impeccable temperament and amazing ability, he became a legend in Queensland and indeed in Australia and was known as the undisputed King of Glenormiston.

We purchased Glenormiston Firenne from Sue Clarke as a weanling. A very elegant filly, we were looking for the blood of Abbeyleix Finbar to add to our future broodmare band. Finbar is a three-quarter brother to Coosheen Finn and Leam Bobby Finn and like them has produced many fine ponies throwing his temperament, type, correct conformation, ability and movement. Finbar himself, enjoyed a fruitful career in the show ring, winning innumerable championships and supreme championships as well as competing with great success in harness and pony jumping. He has a number of successful stallion sons in Australia, USA and New Zealand.

Glenormiston Scarteen is a grand old fashioned mare who competed successfully both in hand and under saddle before retiring to become a prolific broodmare. She is by the imported Danish stallion Oxenholm Gideon who was a very successful performance pony rarely being defeated in the Showjump arena and who went on to leave a legacy of good ponies in Australia, the USA and Denmark.
