2014 Bay Gelding (Glenormiston Bartley x Precious One (T/B))
Asham Punch is the first foal of our stunning Thoroughbred mare ‘Precious One’ by the NZ sire Lucky Owners. Punch himself is by our proven stallion Glenormiston Bartley and carries the blood of Danehill, More than Ready and Centro in his damline. This combined with the fact that he inherited his dam’s sweet temperament made him a ‘sure fire’ chance at being a serious performance horse!
Purchased by Hailey Dawson as an unbroken youngster, all those expectations are coming to fruition!
Broken in and educated beautifully by Hailey he is currently competing successfully at EA 95 with plans to step up to 1* next year. With Covid limiting his chances to compete over the last couple of years he still did extremely well with wins in both ARC Dressage and Eventing and was recently crowned the Reserve Champion National Part Bred Under Saddle in the CPBSA awards.
