Asham Hazy Doon

I own a part Connemara and have admired the breed for many years, being a mature rider their size and temperament is a perfect fit for me with the added bonus that they are very athletic and brave, so I can do a bit of jumping. I follow the Connemara sites and Asham Connemaras stood out as they are a family owned/operated business, where you can not only find the perfect horse for you, but also have some ground work done so that your horse is already well adjusted to many situations and riding styles. Lisa was very kind in helping me select the right horse for my needs, guiding me in the development I wanted them to do with Hazy Doon, and invited me to their beautiful property to meet, ride and bond with him. Sam gave me a supervised ride, and detailed all the time and training he had done with Hazy Doon. From start, to our baby being trucked and arriving to us in another state, it was a seamless process, and wonderful experience for me. Lisa and Sam have loved him as much as I do, I can’t thank them enough and Ashley for all their help. Our Vet paid us a visit today and met Dusty for the first time, her initial comments were that he is very respectful and must have come from an environment where he was handled with great care.
