Sam and Glenormiston Slieveroe created quite an impression as one of the feature ponies at Equitana 2013 representing the Connemara Pony Breeders Society of Australia.
Glenormiston Ballymalloe and Ashley have been awarded the NSW State Title Under Saddle for 2013 and to top it off her little sister Glenormiston Ballybelle has been awarded the Runner Up in the NSW State Title In Hand in the CPBSA Performance Awards.
In only 4 months Sam and Glenormiston Slieveroe have gone from making their eventing debut to taking out the prized blue ribbon and to top it off, Sam won the pointscore trophy awarded to the Zone rider with the lowest penalties!
Ashley and Glenormiston Ballymalloe have just returned from representing their school admirably at the 2013 NSW State Interschools Championships held at the Olympic Venue at SIEC, in the Intermediate Introductory Level of Eventing.

Ashley and her beautiful mare Glenormiston Ballymalloe have won the Inaugural Castle Baron Hi Point Purebred Connemara Award in the Working Hunter Class at the Scone Showjumping Club Competition.
Castle Baron has achieved some brilliant results at the recent Queensland State Dressage Championships siring both the Novice Pony Champion and the Novice Pony Reserve Champion.
Asham Connemaras & Sporthorses very first 'homebred' Connemara, Asham Madonna, has taken out the NSW 'In Hand' title for 2012 and finished runner up in the 'Under Saddle' division!
Asham Connemaras & Performance Horses would like to congratulate the connections of Glenormiston Dundrum, the 2012 National Performance Pony of the Year, sired by Castle Baron.
Glenormiston Killian and Glenormiston Slieveroe recently competed at the local Pony Club Showjumping Championships at Singleton and came home with a swag of ribbons between them.
Glenormiston Killian and Ashley competed in their first event together at the Denman Horse Trials on the weekend of 30th June and 1st July 2012. Killian, until now, has always been ridden by Sam but whilst Glenormiston Ballymalloe is out in the paddock for a well earned break and Sam is riding a Thoroughbred, Ashley decided to jump on board Killian. And if you have to ride someone else’s horse what an amazing pony to be able to ride.
The dressage was held in the fog on Saturday morning and whilst they have not quite polished their dressage yet, the combination completed a very nice and correct test to finish 12th in the standing in the Junior Newcomers Division with Cross Country and Showjumping to be completed on the Sunday.
