Denman EA Horse Trials 2012

Glenormiston Killian and Ashley competed in their first event together at the Denman Horse Trials on the weekend of 30th June and 1st July 2012. Killian, until now, has always been ridden by Sam but whilst Glenormiston Ballymalloe is out in the paddock for a well earned break and Sam is riding a Thoroughbred, Ashley decided to jump on board Killian. And if you have to ride someone else’s horse what an amazing pony to be able to ride.

The dressage was held in the fog on Saturday morning and whilst they have not quite polished their dressage yet, the combination completed a very nice and correct test to finish 12th in the standing in the Junior Newcomers Division with Cross Country and Showjumping to be completed on the Sunday.
